Nestled amongst peaceful native bushland, Kaka Retreat Motel, Stewart Island offers spacious modern suites with kitchenette, flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Beautiful little apartments that feel like you're in the middle of the woods, but it's actually less than a five minute walk from the ferry terminal. Everything clean and tidy, I felt very at home here. In fact, I wish I could have stayed longer! Pricing is also totally fine for Stewart Island and for what you get. They also pick you up from the ferry or plane for free.
