Offering free WiFi and free parking, Coachman's Lodge Motel is located 5 minutes' walk from the Whanganui River. All accommodation offers a kitchen, a dining setting and a flat-screen TV. I was able to check in earlier than the required check in time to unpack and park my vehicle so I could attend my Uncles birthday party across the street. A huge bonus thank you very much. Comfortable beds clean and all round enjoyable stay. Will definitely stay here again.

This is a peaceful little unit at the back of the house, beautifully equipped for an overnight stay (in our case) or longer if required. We only met Lauretta briefly but she was very pleasant & helpful, especially with a recommendation for dinner at a small bistro on Victoria Ave (which turned out to be superb!), a 15-18 minute walk away. Continental breakfast was tasty & plentiful. All in all, highly recommended.
