Incredibly central, very friendly lady on the desk who pointed me to the Sunday craft market which was a lot of fun. Older building but very very clean and comfortable. A great place to stay with the dogs.

Livingston Motel is a 5-minute drive from Nga Tapuwae o Toi Walking Track, and a 15-minute drive from the Whakatane Airport. Eddie the owner is so lovely, nice and friendly and very helpful - a lovely man
