We especially liked the fact that (as it was raining for mmost of our stay) there was a table and chairs (we put them on the deck under cover) outside, as well as inside (roomy). A big bonus is the washing machine and dishwasher. And also, Such a wonderful surprise were all sorts of goodies, such as yoghurt and fruit cups, lots of milk, fruit juice.....and bonus chocolate and chips. There are a few shops at the Hub nearby (kmart , bunnings, etc), supermarkets are in Whakatane which is not too far to drive to , about 10mins. We enjoyed the Peace and quiet!

Tourist Court Motel offers refurbished studios and apartments, each with cooking facilities and 50+ satellite channels. There is a shaded outdoor area with BBQ, plus a spa pool. I left my watch there by mistake, they sent me a txt telling me so and have posted it back to me. That's awesome

Livingston Motel is a 5-minute drive from Nga Tapuwae o Toi Walking Track, and a 15-minute drive from the Whakatane Airport. Very clean comfy room friendly staff,great location.Would stay there again.
