Duqm is an industrial area, mostly frequented by business travelers. I was on a road trip on my way to Salala, needed a place to stopover for the night. The stay was amazing, the breakfast was fantastic with varieties from American to Indian to every other cuisine. The room was a surprise, spacious, clean, with a beautiful sea view, a private patio overlooking the beach.

Very luxurious for the price , best place hotel or otherwise in the town of duqm. Great service , staff was there for every need a screen some . Kamel was especially helpful as was Musum, the food by Ali was gourmet, we are not buffet people , but was next level.

Extremely large and comfortable room with separate lounge. Breakfast good and adequate. Meals could be ordered in, or various restaurants are not far to walk on the same side of the road.

Everything was brand new and clean. The hotel is located in a remote area and it was very quiet, so we were able to sleep very well. We didn't have to look for a restaurant for dinner. The host helped us and made an order for free food delivery to the room. We had a lot of choice.

Although we were on the top most floor (3rd), the water pressure was absolutely great! Which is something most apartments don't do well but it was very convenient. Many thanks to the staff, was very hospitable.

Duqum is a new city under construction.
Duqum is a new city under construction. The city center is still under construction and tiny but you will find all the needed for your stay there.
The road Muscat-Duqum it self is a beautiful journey! It’s nice to take some off roads paths to take a break on pristine beaches (Khaluf-nafun). You will see camels every where and sand dunes!
Duqum has a lot of nice beaches all along the city and down to ras madraka. We loved the mix of dunes and rocks. The place is still very natural and wild.

the room and toilets were very small and the price was very expensive compared to what has been offered. the most disaster thing was the front desk. at first we called the hotel asking them to change our date of arrival. they have confirmed it with the new date, once we arrive they told us they are not expecting us to arrive, I have explained to them at least two time and the checking-in took very long time. the Indian person at the front desk doesn't know anything on how to handle his job. after the checking out, we still received a call from the hotel for the same issues.
The breakfast was very nice and the staff were very friendly and supportive.
