Nora and her family were very helpful and accomodating. I was recovering from a bad case of flu while I was staying there and Nora regularly came to check if I was ok. She even upgraded me to a larger room to be sure that I was comfortable, which I appreciated. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals, which I made good use of. Her teenage nephew, Eddy, was my guide for hike up at Rondon Ridge lodge. It was quite an adventure using public tranport to go up for a hike and picnic afterwards - ask him to play drums using his fingers😉 I even accompanied the family to the church service on Sunday. I only stayed four nights but felt very much at home and very welcome.

The staff is really friendly. They (reception, housekeeping, restaurant) helped us with everything we needed. The general manager found a guide for us, so we were able to visit villages and many natural places.
