The apartment is full of character, set in what was once the old school gym, now beautifully converted into a spacious and welcoming home. The high ceilings and open layout created a sense of light and space, while the thoughtful furnishings made it feel warm and inviting. We slept in the comfortable bedroom, which was peaceful and cozy, and we loved having the lounge area available with its extra beds, giving us even more room to spread out. The fully equipped kitchen was perfect for preparing meals, and one of our favorite parts was the fact you are able to eat them outdoors in the lovely, quiet garden. The private entrance added both convenience and privacy, and the calm countryside setting made it easy to unwind and relax. Having a car was essential, but that gave us the freedom to explore the area easily. Within a short drive we reached Kalmar’s castle, the city center, and the beautiful coastline, and the free parking right at the property made everything simple. Our host was warm, friendly, and attentive, making sure everything was just right while also giving us space to feel at home. The blend of history, comfort, and tranquility made our stay very special. We left refreshed, happy, and grateful for such a memorable experience.
