Lomé and Cotonou are completely off the tourist trail.
Lomé and Cotonou are completely off the tourist trail. This means every experience you have is genuine, and memorable.
French West Africans are very friendly and gregarious by nature and colourful dress.
Good for a couple of days exploration before heading inland, or along the coast.

Wonderful city, neat and people, they are lovely and very accommodating. I love the street food but there are few up market restaurants for wonderful dining. The beach is a must visit location as well as the central market.
