It was a spontaneous decision to stay over here when my partner and I were in Antakya. As someone who studied architecture, I was fascinated by the design of the hotel! We used the swimming pool and jacuzzi, we were the only people in the pool, it was really relaxing. I asked the concierge if our swimming wears can have a quick clean and be dried, despite the cleaning staff was off work, they made telephone calls to make sure it was done! With only a small fee, our dried clothes were delivered to our room in a short time. The breakfast was really lovely with a view from the roof top. We were also given guest tickets to view the museum and ruins on the ground level of the hotel. This is such a unique and special place. I would recommend it to whoever visiting the city. It is a shame and very sad that Antakya is no longer the tourist hotspot and the old town is in ruin (within walking distance from the hotel). I can't wait to revisit the place while the city is rebuilt back to its full glory.

LUWİ ANTAKYA BOUTİQUE HOTEL is situated in Hatay, within 42 km of Kirikhan Province and 42 km of Hitachi Seaside Park. A standing oasis between two earthquake wrecks, the hotel offered big, comfortable and clean rooms. We were surprised our unit had an extra bedroom with two more single beds, as well as the suite-like arrangement, with couches and kitchenette. We appropriated the extra pillows and blankets! Air-conditioning worked as both heater and cooler. Bathroom was spacious, and the hot water came on quickly. Reception can call you a cab, and they also helped arrange for a sightseeing trip the whole of our second day in Hatay province.

Given the current state of the city of Antakya, it is truly a miracle how the hotel remained standing and kept its old charm. The room was cosy, albeit a bit dark (the only windows were the ones opening to the inner courtyard, which I had to keep closed for privacy).

The location is right in the middle of earthquake destruction and hard to find. Friendly staff but somewhat incompetent, including English language. The WIFI (included in the rate) did not work for most of our stay and they did not know how to fix it. No discount offered for this serious inconvenience.

ViparkOtel&Spa has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in İskenderun. Last minute booking due to some issues with another hotel. Staff was super friendly and very accommodating. Location was easy to find. Room was very big and spacious, great value for the price. There is a grocery store right in front of the site, and they offer massage/spas for guests - also a restaurant on site. Parking was easy but be aware of any events in the area because it gets packed.
