A beautiful well situated hotel centrally located. On our arrival we were offered Turkish coffee by the lovely lady at reception. So welcoming! She was also so helpful in arranging for a taxi the next morning. Her English was excellent! Our Turkish very poor unfortunately! The rest of the staff were very kind as well.
We stayed in the suite with a bath which was so lovely to relax in after our long train ride from Samsun. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and both times the food was delicious and fresh.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and a must-stay for history nerds. I personally chose the hotel precisely because of its history.
The room was excellent value for its price. Also the breakfast was good value, and rooms were kept squeaky clean.
