Located in Arusha, 43 km from Moshi Railway Station, Kia Lodge provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The grounds were incredible! I admittedly only booked our stay at Kia Lodge because of its proximity to the airport ahead of and after early morning / late flight arrivals, but Kia Lodge was the best maintained and nicest hotel we stayed at during our month-long trip to Tanzania! We were very impressed by the beautiful gardens, beautiful pool with a view of Kili and the spacious + comfortable rooms, not to mention the very attentive and helpful staff! I had been a bit concerned because airport hotels don't always have the best facilities and can be loud, but that was the exact opposite of our experience at Kia - instead of planes, you're serenaded by a variety of birds from across the grounds (I think we heard an elephant at one point too) and made for a very relaxing last day of our trip. A big thank you to the wonderful team of staff who arranged perfectly timed transfers & pickups, and offered well balanced meals and a bar to enjoy from the pool.

Great location from the airport, quiet place, very friendly staffs, smooth airport transportation, warm welcoming, comfortable beds, nice garden and terrace, and clean room!

Situated within 32 km of Moshi Railway Station and 41 km of Lake Momella, Safi House provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Boma la Ngombe. Safi House is simply amazing..incredible staff, communication, location to airport and food. They are delightful. A spotless facility and so very accommodating and helpful with airport transfers.

Host/owner was so kind and hospitable! She cooked us a meal and arranged transfer to airport for a fee- which was more than fair! Highly recommend if you are in need of a room before heading out on a long flight! We did not sleep there and only used the room for about 6 hours. Highly recommend!!

Boasting quiet street views, Le Parlour features accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a bar, around 28 km from Moshi Railway Station. The host was very accommodating. We arrived later in the evening and she made us a wonderful meal. The next day we had a later flight so she arranged a taxi to take us to the hot springs. Afterwards, she allowed us to use the showers before our flight even though we had already checked out of our room. She made us feel right at home. Such a wonderful stay.

Catherine home near kilimanjaro international airport JRO is a recently renovated homestay in Moshi, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. Katherine and her family are really amazing: nice people, welcoming and warm. I arrived to their home in the evening and they shared with me the dinner, having good and interesting chatting with me. The house is beautiful, the bed comfortable and the food really nice! I reccomend 100% to stay in Katherine's home! Asante sana

Offering a shared lounge and inner courtyard view, Boma villa kilimanjaro is situated in Boma la Ngombe, 27 km from Moshi Railway Station and 40 km from Lake Momella. It was perfect for us- we had a flight from Kilimanjaro and we arrived from zanzibar, we had flight delays and changes and Betty the host was so helpful and accommodating, went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, arranged our taxis, and was very available at every hour to answer questions even though our flights kept changing. She was extremely sweet as so was Madam, they made us feel very much at home. There was a nice breakfast and comfortable clean room, exactly what we needed.
