We booked this stay quite last minute after our rooftent adventures. This place was just magic for us... Lovely reception. The guys even helped us kicking off the huge amount of sand on our luggage after some days in Lake natron. Tent is super comfortable, big enough, very clean bathroom with hot water. Food was delicious. Staff super friendly, especially Edward. Pool has a nice view. If you're looking for a place to recharge after your safari time, this is the place 😍

Featuring garden views, Ava garden backpackers in Mto wa Mbu provides accommodation, a garden and a terrace. I made this the base for safaris. the host Datto is very responsive and super helpful. I stayed in the room with the double bed and attached bathroom and it was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with eggs, pancake, toast and coffee. They served me breakfast at 5:30am when I had to leave for safari at 5:45am. The ladies working there are also very helpful. Datto also helped me book safaris and get a bus to Arusha. He also lent me binoculars for the safari. It is also on the main road. So you won’t have to deal with the rough roads to other places. There are mosquitoes in the area but the room was mosquito free and the bed has a mosquito net. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a simple budget friendly place with an amazing host.

Jangwani River View Suits is a recently renovated apartment in Mto wa Mbu, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and shared lounge. The hosts were very thoughtful of details and took good care of us. The breakfast was amazing! Lovely location.
