Emerald Bay Resort is located in Chokocho village in the south of Pemba. Surrounded by tropical vegetation, this Arabic-styled resort faces a characteristic natural port. After a week of disappointing hotels in the Zanzibar archipelago we found a place that made us feel we were getting good quality for our money. The place is comfortable, beautifully situated, clean. The staff, especially Jennifer and Kasib, made us feel we were looked after at all time. If you go to Pemba, and you should, you need to be here!

The rooms and facilities were much nicer than shown on the pictures. There are beautiful flowers and trees around the bungalows with birds and Bush babies at night and the beach front bar has a fantastic sunset view. The food was excellent and staff were very nice and attentive. There is a well equipped dive shop on site where we organised our diving and snorkelling trips from. We had 6 fantastic days and wished we could have stayed longer.

The Aiyana Resort and Spa offers accommodation in Verani and features a restaurant. The resort has a year-round outdoor pool and views of the sea, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. The most beautiful hotel I've ever seen.The room is auperb, the staff, the food!!!!
