The location was absolutly amazing. Right on top of the waterfalls. It took 1h on a beautiful boat ride to arrive. That was part of the magical. We saw Elephants, Hippos, Crocodiles, Birds and an unforgettable sunset. I belive that no other camps or resorts are located inside the park. The team was excellent and the food was very, very good. We had dinner right bellow a sky full of stars. The next day we went with the team to visit the falls (on the opposite side where the tourists usually see them).

Quiet, tranquil, clean nice little place. It surprised me already the moment we got off our car, because not only did they show up with towels - which is a little extra gesture to show their welcome - but also the towel is cold! It was such a caring addition to everything else when we were sweating insanely under the heat! Regarding the rooms, this is pretty much the only lodge I have seen (among national park-types of lodge) that has a design. I stayed in the deluxe bamboo room and the design makes it much cooler and more airy than many other lodges I've stayed in. It's spacious and clean and tidy. I decided not to stay in the cottages after reading reviews about how the cottages face the west so it's too hot in the afternoon. There's hot water in the bathroom so that's a big plus, although you might not need it much. Because they're on a solar system, just like many safari lodges, so we can't use our regular hairdryer but they have their own hairdryer they can lend to guests. The swimming pool was very clean and nice too! I took an afternoon dip every day during my stay and it's perfect under that hot weather. The room has a phone so we can call the reception for any service needed. This is quite different from many lodges where you walk 5 minutes to your cottage and then have to walk 5 mins back if anything is missing. The service was also incredibly fast! One time we ordered some drinks and it arrived within 3 minutes! We only had one meal (dinner) at the lodge and it was great too! I wouldn't say I'd go specifically for the meal but it's definitely above average considering meals at safari lodges. Overall this is a really great place to stay. It doesn't feel overly luxurious and fancy but the cleanliness and service made me 100% enjoy my stay. Let's say they focus on what is truly important, instead of building a fancy place and charging high prices for no reason. I highly recommend it!

Location is really great as there are plenty of birds and even some occasional wildlife to keep you occupied even when out of the national park. The sunset over the river is exceptionally beautiful.

The view of the Albert Nile, the wandering elephants so...

The view of the Albert Nile, the wandering elephants so close you could almost touch them, the culture, the smiling people, the beauty and the nature. Cherry on top of the cake, the closeness of the Murchison Falls National Park and all the activities one can indulge in.

Location good Rooms good

Location good Rooms good Restaurant pathetic: yesterday we ordered food for 3 people (1 pizza, 1 fish to be shared by two) at 17:30, for 18:45, to eat before the lakeflies come and as long as we still see what we eat. The fourth person came at 18:30h and wanted pizza, there was no more pizza as there was no more cheese. The fourth order, fried chicken and fries, came first, the pizza second, around 19:15h and the fish at 19:30h, 45 minutes late (having ordered two hours prior). Turned out parts of the pizza was BLACK on the bottom, like charcoal. When the waitress was asked what she would do about it, she just looked like a deer in high beams. I asked her to take the charcoal to the kitchen, nothing ever came back. When I asked her today, she told me ‚it was a mistake‘. Pathetic. Both the waitress and the chef who react like that should be fired on the spot. For breakfast, one of the dishes were poached eggs. They were hard boiled. We were just told there is still no pizza, because they failed to buy cheese, at 17:30 pm. Just pathetic.
