Coast Inn at Lake Hood, is a short walk away to watch float planes take on and off from one of the busiest seaplane bases in the world. The room size was very large and very comfortable. The bed was really comfortable. Watching the planes land and take off was fun.

Excellent accommodation of a really good standard. Breakfast was provided for the stay and there were all the pots and pans, utensils you would ever need if you wished to cook. Location is nice and quiet, though close to the airport and main road links so it's easy to get around by car. Highly recommended!

Staff were welcoming , helpful and very friendly. Swimming pool was clean and well prepared with clean towels etc. The room had everything you could need and anything that wasn’t there then the front desk staff could arrange. Breakfast was nice and had plenty to choose from. Staff member on the desk could have not been more helpful.

Located 10 minutes from historic downtown Anchorage, Alaska, this hotel offers 24-hour shuttle service to Anchorage International Airport. I was unexpectedly and pleasantly surprised by my stay at Americas Best Value Inn and Suites but it might very well be one of Anchorage's best kept secrets😁 It was actually my best experience of any of the hotels (or motels), I stayed at during my week in Alaska (Anchorage and Palmer). I was given a hugely spacious room (which, was actually a self-catering apartment suite). My experience was peaceful during the time I was there. The hotel provides a simple breakfast and a free shuttle service to the Ted Stevens International airport (which, is only a convenient 10 minute journey from the hotel on Spenard Road). There are a number of additional food services nearby (within walking distance; including, a lovely, cozy little Cafe/bookstore which, I visited on one drizzly afternoon whilst I was there).
