The host was very welcoming and accommodating. The guest room was very nice- clean, stocked with amenities like tea, coffee, snacks, shower items (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc) and a binder full of very useful information and even local emergency numbers. The location was a little outside of downtown, which was nice because it was super quiet but still close enough to all the restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it to others!

The lodge (kitchen and living room) felt as if you were staying in a friend's home. While we didn't utilize them, there were barbecues and picnic tables out front, and fire pits on the beach (right across the street). DirecTV available, plus an assortment of movies available to watch. Cute little red squirrels, hummingbirds just on the other side of the glass windows, and eagles as well as other wildlife in the trees and waterways. The perfect location - between the lake and downtown. The cherry on top, though, was Katy, the caretaker! A bundle of exuberant energy; a new lifelong friend!
