Hotels near Hot Springs Memorial Field Airport - HOT, Hot Springs

Hot Springs had so many places to see. The stores were plentiful for souvenirs. We did the tram tour which was ok, but disappointed we didn't get to see more (the guide drove us by several houses which though nice, didn't impress me much). I would have rather seen more nature stuff. There were places to fill up water jugs for free with their spring water which was pretty neat. The people that we encountered were super nice, especially the lady at the visitor center downtown. She was very knowledgeable.

The DUWK boats. Very entertaining and relaxing. Lots of photo opps. All the staff recommendations for dining. The bath and massage at The Arlington was relaxing and invigorating. The fact that the staff knew the best places to see the fireworks on Lake Hamilton. Loved the variety of shops and activities available. The various types of food available.

Hot Springs is a great place for tourists. There is bathhouse row and, my favorite, the Gangster Museum located downtown. There are lots of hole-in-the-wall restaurants all over the place, which is where we ate some our best meals. One of the major drawbacks about downtown Hot Springs is the parking - it's terrible! I also rarely saw any police presence while I was visiting the town.

Its a beautiful town with lots of history. Very confusing town to say the least. I have never been to a state park that actually was part of the town itself. We also didn't know a festival was going on the weekend we decided to come. Made it hard to enjoy the town and atmosphere. Definitely a money town. Similar atmosphere to Gatlinburg strip. Food, drinks, culture, and sites were amazing. Not a lot of free things to do or if so, we didn't find any.

This was one of the friendliest places I have ever been! Everywhere we went people would say Welcome In! May we help you? That means so much, truly. All of the food was good. Diablo downtown on Bath house row, and Fisherman's Wharf was scrumptious! Then there was Garvin Gardens! It was exquisite. So many different specimens of Japanese maples and they were putting up some of their Eight Million Lights for the Festival of Lights. I have no doubts it will be breath taking!

I have stopped in Hot Springs on my travels between Kentucky and Texas many times. It is a gem of a little break, a mini-vacation. It is a National Park with great hiking in a lovely setting. It is also the home of natural springs, and numerous bathhouses offer treatment and spa services at reasonable prices. Stopping for a self-care vacation is an excellent way to unwind and rejuvenate. This time, I decided to try one of the spas located outside the downtown area and was extremely pleased. I visited Chrysalis Spa, 4332 Central Ave., a short drive from downtown, and they did not disappoint. Both the facial and massage were excellent. I highly recommend their services!
