This Tampa hotel is 1 mile from the Tampa International Airport and 8 miles from the Amalie Arena. We checked in for the last night of our stay in Florida. We were leaving the following morning so booked the Hyatt as an easy jump to the airport. We unfortunately had rainy weather most of our trip, when we arrived at the Grand Hyatt the whole trip and bad weather just went away. The grounds, hotel- everything was perfect. I ended up changing my flight just so we could stay an extra day and enjoy the weather and beauty and “vacation” that we missed out on. We had a Casita, the pool was perfect, the staff was amazing- I can’t say enough. They literally turned a horrible trip into a great one- even if for only two days!
