Clean little sea side town (I stayed downtown).
Clean little sea side town (I stayed downtown). Great vendors in market, green bay restaurant and 578 had hot meals with 4/5 taste for me. Safari bus ($2) good easy to get around if you want to see city and go to some local places, pick up a map in the tourist welcome center downtown. Better yet ask a local. Everyone I met was friendly and willing to answer questions/give directions. Take the safari bus to Red hook, catch the ferry ($9.15 with tax) and see St john island. State park there with beautiful beach, local raci needed to access it though.Guest review byColeenUnited States - 4.0

The middle of nowhere, which is great in St.
The middle of nowhere, which is great in St. Thomas if you drive a tank. Not so kind on a rental. But you can disappear very well if you so choose, and in the process get some of the most spectacular views - ever.Guest review byFederico GoodsaidPuerto Rico - 8.0
Very easy to get to from the airport. Walking distance.
Very easy to get to from the airport. Walking distance. You really don't even hear the planes takeoff. The hotel is older so don't expect the grays and golds that are in right now. More grandma's house style. The staff is great. The pool is small but has a great view. The bar area also has a restaurant. The price is affordable and you could not even have to leave.Guest review byTheresaUnited States - 10.0
Great staff, friendly and helpful especially Carla
Great staff, friendly and helpful especially Carla Potential guests should be aware that the property is on a hillside, no elevator so getting to room could be a challenge. Still, great property, very nice pool.Guest review byKathyUnited States - 8.0
The hotel was close to the cruise port.
The hotel was close to the cruise port. It was a bueatiful backdrop. I was there for a short period, I just wanted to go somewhere different and I accomplished my goal. I was there by myself and felt safe. I caught several taxis, when to call a taxis, your taxis has people going other people going in the direction you are, and it’s per person. They’re not a lot of places to park. The streets are very busy.Guest review byCalvinaUnited States - 10.0
The view great. The hot tub was hot.
The view great. The hot tub was hot. The house is well used, could use a little freshening up, but it really was a great place to spend the night. Isolated from restaurants so come prepared to call a taxi or bring your own food up the mountain. So quiet and peaceful. Will rent again!Guest review bySuzanne DorschUnited States - 10.0
The beach was super clean and the water was fabulous!
The beach was super clean and the water was fabulous! Right in front of our hotel balcony! Would definitely return again. This was second trip to emerald beach. Walked the whole beach many times- pure relaxation! Preferred staying at resort with all the water sports offered them venturing into busy downtownGuest review byVirginiaUnited States - 10.0
I love Charlotte Amalie I was born and raised here.
I love Charlotte Amalie I was born and raised here. I relocated to the states years ago. My last visit was in 2018, and some of my family members still reside here. I also stayed in Estate Solberg and the driving was nerve-wrecking up and down those steep small hills. Overall, I enjoyed my stay with family and the food.Guest review byAndrea - 6.0
One day was enough there it was nice to see the beach but...
One day was enough there it was nice to see the beach but don’t offer much at all, people there are not very friendly in day crowd, definitely early morning or later evening spot. Definitely would stay anywhere beside emerald beach resort if ever had to stay that way again. Food was WAY over priced for what it was. It was decent food but price was insane comparing to other places we ate and what we paid.Guest review byDianaUnited States
