Offering a barbecue and a private beach area, Tanna Evergreen Resort & Tours is situated on Tanna Island. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the setting lovely. This locally run resort is an unsophisticated comfortable choice conveniently located near to the airport.

Without her prompt answer and exact suggestion and detailed information to every question I raised, I wouldn’t have made this volcano tour realized. Thank you Matha, and your team! Rockwater Resort is an absolute diamond find! The attention to detail in everything from the guest interactions, the room, the food and the resort itself. I spent three days in this gorgeous place, not only doing the Tanna Island top sights (Mt Yasur volcano, Blue Cave, traditional village tour and the Giant Banyan tree), but simply spending time around the resort by the pool with a book or snorkelling off the front cliffs. Silvana and John are absolutely beautiful hosts with their care and attention for the experience of your own and other guests with the island and Vanuatu as a whole.

Very well maintained and the family that run it are very friendly and helpful. We were coming from spending two nights in a tree house near Mt Yasur volcano which had no electricity and running water. From there to here with electricity and hot water it was an amazing feeling :) the restaurant has some great food too and an amazing breakfast spread.
