Protea Hotel by Marriott O R Tambo Airport is situated in Kempton Park, 3.5 km from the O.R Tambo International Airport and and 1 km from the Rhodesfield Gautrain Station. The staff is very efficient and friendly and made me feel welcome. My room was clean and the bed very comfortable with good quality bedlinen. The location is very good, especially for travellers with long layovers between flights. The free shuttle service is a big bonus. The drivers were very polite and on time.

I organised a shuttle past regular hours easily enough and the driver was very friendly. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was good. I liked that they also offered me a complimentary shuttle to the Gautrain station after my stay.

This hotel offers modern rooms with flat-screen TV and an outdoor pool in a cosy courtyard. My room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. Breakfast was scrumptious and I also liked the Pub and Grill. Staff were amazingly courteous from the shuttle driver, reception, bar and restaurant. I had a very good stay albeit a short one. Hope to return soon.
