Everything is perfect. The facility, foods, location, staff is much better than expected. We didn’t see leopard. However we were very satisfied to see a very impressive scene ( lions eating zebra….)

Fantastic location, beautiful small scale lodge with ultra pleasant and friendly staff. The activities were fantastic, especially the morning game walks. Being escorted by two very knowledgeable Rangers, we felt safe in the bush and immensely enjoyed the walks and all that we saw and learned these days.

We loved the location in the middle of the bush. The amenities and the comfort are outstanding while eco responsible. The staff is absolutely lovely and very careful while being very professional. The food is excellent and changes every day, the walk games are wonderful even if of course you don't see as many animals as in cars...but the contact with the nature and the intercation with animals is unique...and our guide was so nice and skilled. I defintely recommend to anyone who wants to live a true expreience in the bush

We had an amazing stay at the Tangala Safari Camp. Especially the kindness of the staff and the Safari Tours (2 x per day included) made our vacation unforgettable. The camp and our room/tent was perfectly clean and the food was very good (e.g. homemade granola for breakfast, different salads and sides for high tea and a 3 course dinner with different meat/fish and vegetables) The camp is perfectly located, with a lot of wildlife around. Different animals are using the waterhole that is just some meters away from the camp and some of the smaller animals also walking around within the camp. A usual day would start at 5:00 with a coffee/tea and the morning Safari at 5:30. After the return at the camp we would usually make use of the pool/enjoying the South African sun. High Tea was served at 15:00 and the second Safari of the day would start at 15:30. The Safari itself was unbelievable. The Guides/Trackers are awesome. We have been able to see the Big 5. After the first Safari, we thought we have seen already everything. However, each of the trips were different and stunning. We saw the animals in there natural environment (e.g. Elephants bathing, lions eating a Zebra, Buffalos taking a mud bath). All-in-all an amazing experience.

KwaMbili Game Lodge is situated in the Thornybush Game Reserve near Hoedspruit. It offers a restaurant, an outdoor pool and a secluded game viewing deck, overlooking a permanent waterhole.

Our stay at the beautiful Last Word Kitara was truly special. The lodge is set in a peaceful, breathtaking environment where you can completely immerse yourself in nature. The rooms are spacious, perfectly clean, and come with a beautiful balcony — the ideal spot to unwind between game drives. The food was outstanding throughout our stay. Every meal was delicious, and the attention to detail was impressive — the table was always beautifully set, with a different and thoughtful arrangement each time, which made every dining experience feel unique and personal. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and always helpful. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for, and their warmth added so much to our overall experience. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing guide Matt and tracker Patrick. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five all in one day, which was truly unforgettable. What really stood out was Matt’s genuine passion for animals — whether it was birds or big cats, his enthusiasm was contagious and made every sighting even more exciting. I particularly enjoyed watching how he and Patrick tracked the animals — carefully reading signs, interpreting tracks, and slowly piecing together where the wildlife might be. Being part of that process made each drive feel like a real adventure. This was such a wonderful way to celebrate my graduation. Great location for Orpen gate and manyeleti. Great lodge, very comfortable room and the sweetest staff who go above and beyond. Food was great. We would definitely stay here again!
