Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were welcoming and friendly also tailoring a meal to my vegan requirements. The surrounding area is beautiful, an elephant passed nearby in the morning and the nature walk provided by the lodge was excellent; true to the name, there were several hippos around.

A superb lodge overlooking Kariba Dam. Without exception all staff were excellent - nothing was too much trouble and the food was tasty!
