We visited just 2 days after the start of the season and stayed for 7 days. The hotel was very well maintained compared to some other Mediterranean locations we've stayed in. The food at the main restaurant had some daily variation with some themes days in between. The quality of the food was always great, especially the local vegetables and meat / fish on offer. Do try the Flavor restaurant with the wine pairing if you can, it's a great way to get away from the chaos that buffets can sometimes be. We loved the onsite gym which is on par if not above some dedicated gyms in terms of equipment variety & quality. The fitness activities are also great! I can recommend the bike tours offered by the hotel, the mountain and road bikes they have are very well maintained and even for me at 2.07m tall there was something available. Give the archery course a try! Hendrick did a great job at explaining everything and helping us improve over time! Hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful any time of day and no matter the question. The guest service will try to accommodate any request you might have. Overall we loved our stay at Candia Maris and will definitely come back next year for another relaxing holiday.

This is a bungalow hotel and the first time we stayed in one - loved it! The check in was speedy, we got there early but the rooms were already available, and we even got an upgrade - thanks so much to Mr. George K. ! The bungalows were huge and impeccable, the hotel was quiet, with lovely gardens + a nice outside space for each bungalow. The cleaning personnel was very discreet, not disturbing in any way. Rooms had everything you could need, including beach towels for the pool / beach. The beach is literally 2 steps, with free chairs. It is sandy and long. We did not use the pool, but looked very nice and was relaxing, as the pool for small kids was in another area. The way the restaurant was organized was great, we never had queues. The food was great (we had breakfast and dinner) and drinks including beer, wine are included, unlike in other places. The restaurant has a great view of the sea and a nice terrace is available. The personnel of the restaurant was great, special thanks to the supervisor, he made us feel very welcome. We received in the rooms bottled water every 2 days or so. The hotel has sufficient parking places. We visited Heraklion and really enjoyed it, better than Rethymnos in our view. Great restaurants, shopping, the museum is also very nice.

Within 120 metres from the beach of Amoudara, the 4-star Marilena Hotel has a large swimming pool, a restaurant and a poolside bar and offers elegant accommodation with Cretan Sea or mountain views.

The hotel staff was super nice. They handle my family professionally. The beach was very close. The food of the restaurant was good quality, delicious and fill immediately the missing ones. The location is perfect, between the airport and the hotel (for 1.6€) there is a direc bus line (go through the old Town of Heraklion). From the room we have a lovely view of the sea and mountains. The beach was huge, you kac walk miles in the sand without any barrier. Near the hotel there are many gift shops, restaurants, supermarkets.

Right on its private area of Amnisos Beach with free sun loungers, Unique Blue! Resort and Villas Adults Only features an outdoor pool. Facilities include a fitness room with hammam.

The hotel was fantastic! Our room was massive and very well stocked. The manager, Fei, and her team, all went above and beyond to make our Honeymoon extra special. Food and the view of the sea from the room was great. We would highly recommend this hotel!

All the staff was extremely nice and friendly. Food excellent and all the facilities great. Theo the trainer in the Fitness center did great workouts and it was nice doing Yoga and Pilates with Jenni. There are stairs from one of the bars to the beach where we did scuba and Kayak. Sea is clear and you see some tropical fishes. Nice room with a great view where we could watch the sunrise and the ocean. Basically you never have to leave the resort, I even got a haircut there. Thank you. We are already starting to plan our next trip to the resort.

The resort was great. Our room had a spectacular view to the sea. It was a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a brilliant shower and balcony. It was an all inclusive package providing breakfast, lunch and dinner, with snacks and drinks throughout the day. The food was very good, with specialty dishes changing each day. Pools were spacious and clean, and you also had direct access to the sea from the lower pool area.

Set right on the sandy beach in Gouves, Sol Marina Beach Crete offers 2 seawater swimming pools and 1 indoor pool. Free WiFi is provided.
