The location was amazing so high up giving fantastic wonderful view. The breakfast was very good great selection. The staff were welcoming and friendly.

It was a huge weight off my mind and off luggage. 😁 After moving to another lovely hotel in Bad Hofgastein, we recognize just how comfortable and cared for we were at Oberforsthof. Hotel Kendler is a family-run 4-star-superior hotel in the pedestrian zone in the heart of Saalbach, only a few minutes’ walk away from the cable cars and the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang ski, hiking... Excellent location, great breakfast. Our room was fabulous, had a great dinner in the restaurant one evening.

The staff was extremely helpful and showed great determination in assisting us. They didn’t give up even after several attempts and made sure we were taken care of. I would especially like to give credit to the girls at the reception, whose kindness and persistence made a stressful situation much easier. Because of this experience, we will definitely be coming back in the future.

The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, ensuring our stay exceeded all expectations. This place is truly a gem, offering tranquility, beauty, and impeccable service. We can't wait to return and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway in the heart of the Austrian Alps!
