Opposite Inverness Castle, Inverness Palace Hotel & Spa, WorldHotels Distinctive is located on the banks of the River Ness. Laura was a lovely waitress at breakfast and went the extra mile.

Set in private gardens above Portpatrick, Fernhill Hotel boasts open views over the village, harbour and Irish Sea. We had a lovely stay here. The check in was fast and we had a lovely room in room 15. The room was huge with a lovely bed and an amazing view of the sea and the local village. The bathroom was ginormous, like something out of the Ritz. We had a very nice relaxing evening, enjoying the view from the room. Next morning we had breakfast which is really good. Overall, really nice stay.

Located within 10 acres of landscaped grounds, the Victorian-style Doubletree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro Hotel offers breathtaking views of the Trossachs. Dinner by chef Nick Nairn at the Kailyard was fabulous and the dining room and staff were wonderful as well. Loved all the extra touches and classy extras in the hotel and room such as nice toiletries, comfy bed, warm hotel cookies, etc
