Nova This review will be fairly long, as the level of care, professionalism, attention to detail and sheer joy we received is hard to put into a short review. Here’s the TL;DR before the long version: Don’t think twice, book Nova. It’ll be worth every penny, the facilities are top notch and state of the art (barely 2 years old) and the staff is the most amazing in the world. Now, let’s dive in. The experience begins with Ms Zhou at arrivals welcoming you along with the front office team. You’re shown around the island, where you see Wink (the social hub of the island), the state of the art gym, and white sand beaches. The villas are out of this world, spacious, well ACed, and with good access to the water. You don’t spend much time in the room however, because you’ll be eating at Soul Kitchen, where Evi, Bee, Sinhala, Anggi, Manoj and the wok-master himself James prepare you the best meals at restaurant level you can have. Not once do you feel like it’s a buffet, because the quality is so high. At breakfast, make sure to grab a sweet bite from the pastry chef Ms. Bee, or a perfectly cooked each time eggs Benedict from Anggi. At lunch or dinner, be sure to get a live-cooking rice from James, Sinhala or Manoj - the wok hei taste is something that you cannot replicate without their years of experience. Big shout out to Chef James for helping me build up my spice tolerance. The state of the art cooking is supplemented by the attentive staff, who don’t let a day pass by without pampering you. Huge thanks to the entire team, especially Mohammed, Shaee, Jailam, Angunn, Lee, Heidi, Fitri, Kadek and of course Muneeb. When catching the sunset in the Solis Pool Bar, a cocktail from one of Sri Lanka’s best - Sandun - is a must. (Though the first place is closely tied with Krishan from Wink, also Sri Lanka). Sandun makes the perfect cocktails, easily carries the conversation and has insightful comments. Wink - the social hub of the entire island.

El SeaLaVie Inn, situado en Ukulhas, proporciona conexión WiFi gratuita y alberga un restaurante, así como una barbacoa. El trato del personal, pendiente en todo momento de ti, llegando a ser muy familiar. La organización y las actividades fueron espectaculares, siendo el único inconveniente la actividad del tiburón ballena. Recomiendo el hotel si quieres vivir e integrarte en la vida local de Maldivas.

El Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa ofrece WiFi gratuita y piscina al aire libre. Alberga un centro de spa y tiene zona de playa privada y restaurante. Posiblemente el mejor hotel que hemos visitado. Atención del personal, instalaciones, comodidades, gastronomía, todo excelente. La villa en el agua es espaciosa, cómoda, íntima y bien conectada con el resto de la isla.

Pasamos la última parte de nuestra luna de miel y me emocionó diciendo que es el sitio perfecto. Es una isla pequeña y tranquila que representa la imagen de las Maldivas. Playas de ensueño, arena blanca agua turquesa. El personal es de 10, solo llegar María nos recibió con su energía positiva y nuestra water villa era de ensueño, los chicos que limpian las habitaciones siempre atentos, el club de buceo... Volveremos sin duda.

Koimala Hotel tiene bicis gratuitas, zona de playa privada, un salón compartido y terraza en Maamigili. + Excellent hotel! The staff is friendly, everyone is very helpful, smiling, they respond immediately to requests. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, modern, all accessories are available (tooth brushes, pasta, gels, shampoos, hair dryer, beach towels). The food is excellent! Big choice, everything is delicious. We had full board The beach is in 10 minutes on foot. If you wish, you can make use of the shuttle service at your convenience. But we liked to walk. Excursions were also booked at the hotel. We met a whale shark, we caught big fish, which we were prepared for dinner on request. The successful location of the island, on the state ferry, went to see other islands. Everything is great, thanks for the hospitality!.

Ras Rana Lodge cuenta con un gimnasio, jardín, una zona de playa privada y salón compartido en Rasdhoo. El desayuno me pareció bueno, cuando ingresas al hotel te consultan si deseas desayuno maldivo o americano, lo cual me parece bueno que te den esa opción. La ubicación es cerca de la playa, en general Rasdhoo es una isla pequeña donde todo te queda cerca. Destaco la amabilidad de Mujah quien estuvo en todo momento asistiendo nuestras necesidades desde que llegamos a la Isla hasta que nos fuimos, hasta hicimos una excursión con él a los bancos de arena.

El Lily Beach Resort & Spa ofrece una experiencia única en la vida donde el lujo y la felicidad se entrelazan bajo los colores vivos del sol poniente. It is close to the airport, 25 min seaplane. The staff made our vacation perfect. Highly reccommend the hotel, this was our best vacation ever. Food is great.

Entre los resorts en Maldivas, el Outrigger Maldives Maafushivaru Resort es la isla definitiva que personifica todo lo que uno sueña cuando piensa en las Maldivas. Todo estuvo excelente. El personal fue demasiado amable. La comida súper rica. Nuestra habitación nos encantó demasiado. Muy cómoda y grande. El hotel es tranquilo y muy relajante. Está para nuestro gusto muy bien ubicado. No está muy lejos de la capital y las aguas demasiado bellas y calientes.

El Diamonds Athuruga Maldives Resort & SPA ofrece una experiencia paradisiaca de lujo y cuenta con villas amplias, un spa con tratamientos ayurvédicos y un centro de buceo. We just came back from this resort and are already planning our next vacation at the same place. We stayed for two weeks in a standard beach villa and liked everything, the most important for us being the house reef. The house reef: simply outstanding, daily encounters with the sharks, turtles, whole families of the eagle rays, porcupine and boxfish, moray eels and so on. We enjoyed snorkeling at least twice a day and were never disappointed. The food : simple but good, with Italian influence. One could find pizzas and pasta at a daily basis (pasta with speck and safran sauce is my favorite). Every day the resort changes the theme of the diner, my favorite being Maldivian, we had it twice during our stay. Live barbecue with meat and fish, live naan station (just excellent) as well as other dishes from all around the world. We also booked the lobster dinner, while being a bit too expensive, it was one of the best we had so far. The Chef prepared an excellent lemon butter sauce that was just perfect for the lobster, highlighting its delicate taste. Thanks to the General manager Jaco we also had one diner at the a la carte water villa restaurant, we liked a lot the romantic setting, lounge music, service and of course the food. The excursions: we went on a whale shark excursion and were lucky to see two different of them. In our sixth’s time in Maldives it was the first encounter, what a beautiful experience ! We also went on the night sharks snorkeling and had seen at least 30 friendly nurse sharks of different size, it was impressive and beautiful. Finally, we went on manta safari and unfortunately haven’t seen any, but we will try again the next year. The resort also organizes the house reef snorkeling excursions twice a day (free of charge) with the marine’s biologists. If you are not a confident swimmer and/or would like to know better the marine’s life, I highly recommend to give it a try. The shop: I loved this shop.
