Self check in was a smooth process. The room is a little small, but if you're used to hotels in big Japanese cities then it's fine. The bed is comfy and the shower is good. I did start reading some of the paraphernalia left in the room by the owner of the chain and it came to my attention that the owner of the company is a far right lunatic and denyer of such atrocities such as the rape of Nanking and other assorted, documented and we'll witnessed war crimes. Meaning, you understand the concept of a small room, basic amenities and basically a place to sleep but not spend the day. This APA hotel matches all of that, extra is the public Japanese bath and decent restaurant. Short walk to other lines for about 20-30 min ride to Namba/Osaka Station (for Den Den Town or Dottonbori) or to Nara. My 2nd APA hotel during my first trip to Japan, seems like a reliable hotel chain. There is a vending machine for milk right outside the onsen on the 2nd floor.
