Self check in was a smooth process. The room is a little small, but if you're used to hotels in big Japanese cities then it's fine. The bed is comfy and the shower is good. It's convenient that there's a Lawson within the hotel. I did start reading some of the paraphernalia left in the room by the owner of the chain and it came to my attention that the owner of the company is a far right lunatic and denyer of such atrocities such as the rape of Nanking and other assorted, documented and we'll witnessed war crimes. Meaning, you understand the concept of a small room, basic amenities and basically a place to sleep but not spend the day. Short walk to other lines for about 20-30 min ride to Namba/Osaka Station (for Den Den Town or Dottonbori) or to Nara. My 2nd APA hotel during my first trip to Japan, seems like a reliable hotel chain. There is a vending machine for milk right outside the onsen on the 2nd floor.
