APA Hotel Sendai-eki Itsutsubashi is conveniently located a 2-minute walk from Itsutsubashi Subway Station. It provides well-equipped rooms with modern facilities like a flat-screen TV with VOD system and BBC World News as well as free wired internet. It has a restaurant and public baths on site. Very good location, comfortable bed and large onsen in the hotel. The breakfast is large and very delicious. I stayed for a week and never got bored of the onsen and the breakfast. The hotel is super close to Sendai station subway.

- AMAZING staff. They are very cordial and friendly; - Nice breakfast (Japanese style); - Very close to the train station - room size was ok for one person traveling alone
great hot spring on the roof, comfortable japanese style rooms with tatami mats, low beds and everything you need. The hotel offers a wide range of free of charge amenities like popsicles and late night ramen.
Very good value for money, clean, lovely staff. All round a great budget hotel. Rooms are small but do the job. Breakfast included was good- it was Japanese style but had some bread and croissants to toast
The room was large and clean, Japanese style, with mats, a low table and a sleeping area on the floor. The view from the window was simply breathtaking. Breakfast was quite tasty and varied. The staff tried to be helpful and polite. It was especially nice to receive detailed instructions regarding the hotel rules in English (which, for some unknown reason, many hotels in Japan ignore). The overall impression of this Japanese style hotel is quite good.
The view from bedroom!!! There’s no real need to leave the room. Massage chair in bedroom! Top quality meals - very Japanese - excellent range - we loved the wagyu beef. Matsushima is gorgeous and definitely worth a visit.
This inn is managed (owned?) by very nice people and their adorable dogs. Rooms/hallways/property are beautiful with a classic Japanese feel. We felt very welcomed and comfortable. We used the onsen upstairs, it's small but comfortably sat the 3 girls in our family at once. We could have walked to the waterfront but it was a little far and warm that day so we chose to drive our car there and park in one of the lots which was easy.
It was in a traditional Japanese interior and architectural style and very well kept with the old building still in use and preserved at 600 years old, the history is very interesting.
The bath facilities were great, and the common area with microwave was quite useful for late night suppers. The manga collection in the common area is also a thoughtful and nice touch, if you are able to read Japanese. The location was even better than I thought, as it was within the hapina nakakecho shopping arcade ハピナ名掛丁 , which is covered. As for the capsules, they were spacious enough and I did not hear any snoring.
Nice for a one-night stay. Hotel is a short walk from a train station. The hot bath area is well-kept, it even has an outdoor bath. And on different floors there were several amenities to make our stay more comfortable. The room was a bit small (APA Hotel explains it as cost-saving and more eco ;) but nothing too extreme and we had everything we needed in the room itself.
Japanese breakfasts were a feast for the eyes and the stomachs. Beautifully presented. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was huge and comfortable. Easy walk from Sendai station.
