Liked everything. Parking was in the courtyard. The only inconvenience was how they checked when we left if we didn't take or break anything in the room. I have never experienced such control before. However, the room on the 1st floor was not the 1st floor, but the semi-basement

We stayed in the apartment for 3 nights and everything was exactly as described. The location was great, and the photos matched reality. Everything was perfect! The property is brand new and spotlessly clean, with comfortable and spacious rooms. The location is excellent to reach any part of the city. Located in a residential neighbourhood less than a mile from the beach front you would never know this little peace of paradise existed unless you went looking. From our last minute booking to our welcome we knew we’d found a winner. The apartments are family owned and staying there we felt every part of the family. Not in an intrusive way, we seen other guests come and go with a wave but we embraced the engagement and quite frankly it is run by wonderful people. From fresh fruit and coffee in the mornings (without expectation or request) to impromptu coffees and the odd raki. Everything was just enough enough. They know how to host and this place I almost feel conflicted writing this as I want to keep it a secret for future visits. I understand the importance of reviews to new establishments like this one though. As mentioned above any request is never a hassle and there were no issues to speak of although I’m sure they would have been met with the same expedient vigour. The fundamentals; free parking in courtyard that can be locked at night and opened at any point without request. Fast WiFi, great sized suite with immaculate living room and kitchen, small terrace and a generously sized master. The bathroom was also a good size, complete with rainfall shower, good water pressure and great overall finish. I cannot speak highly enough of Villa 42 and the owners/family. We ended up extending our stay it was so enjoyable. The family and I are still in touch and we hope to visit them again soon. If you’re staying in Vlorë do not hesitate to book this gem!

An absolute gem smack in the middle of Vlore on Lungomare with a balcony view of the sea and the best part of the promenade and next to everything you need. The apartment is in luxurious Italain art deco style and the bed is just heavenly!!! We have never slept on such a comfortable matrace and I recommend this is added to the description. We are older people and have quality matraces at home, but these from Dorelan are starting from the €2000 range and you feel the difference at first touch. This will be our go to place whenever we are in Vlora.
