The BLISS Basel Residence is run by a very friendly and helpful Lebanese family. The same family also runs a Lebanese restaurant attached to the accommodation with delicious food that is also quite cheap for Switzerland. The owner is very friendly, attentive, accommodating and takes good care of his guests. The holiday apartments are equipped with everything you need. If something is missing or not in order, the owner will take care of it and remedy the situation or offer another solution. The apartments are spotless clean, cozy and the beds are very comfortable. We felt very comfortable. By paying the tourist tax you receive a ticket that entitles you to unlimited use of public transport in Basel and the entire Northwest Switzerland tariff association, so you can also get to Basel Airport with it.

Lovely, clean apartment in the heart of Basel. Maria is a fabulous host. Very friendly. She was most accommodating to requests, such as a late check-out. Also very helpful with recommendations of places to eat and navigating local transport. I felt safe and comfortable throughout the stay.

    The hotel has a chic and accommodating vibe. Reception well-decorated. As it is an Aparthotel, you get the best of your stay with well-equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom. Loved that the place has a washing machine and dryer - you need to pay for tokens to use them.

    Clean, quiet aparthotel with everything we needed, run by friendly, helpful staff. We liked the location, which is within easy walking distance of restaurants/bars, the museum quarter, riverside and Claraplatz for transport to Vitra/Basel. We also liked having a little kitchen...nearby coop made this very usable.

    This is an apartment hotel (so it looked more like a flat than a hotel) equipped for travelers that need also some self-service. The room has a small kitchen with coffee machine, dish-washer, cutlery, a full size fridge and a microwave oven. Bathroom was equipped with a full size bathtub and a shower giving you the full range.
