Serviced Apartments in Magdeburg

Location was a bit far from the main city but the city is small and the rooms are really good so it was totally worth it.

Art Hotel, Grüne Zitadelle (Green Citadel) Talking about an Eco Project, then this property surely fits all the requirements! Designed by Famed Friedensreich Hundertwasser, (his final project), it is a mishmash of styles, incorporating Hotel, Offices, Shops, playgrounds etc etc, all roofs are covered with greenery aplenty! The apartment we chose, was the 8th floor “Suite” so to speak, two levels of living & sleeping space! An amazing break from the usual Hotel or Apartment style accommodation. The service Team and the Manager were outstanding true hospitality professionals! Wonderful team! With all facilities (except gym) this has proven to be the highlight of our 6 week German Discovery Tour! Parking, plenty, but to get to the 8th Floor elevator, needs to stop the car at a lot reserved for home owners, just for 10 minutes or so, then as a German Dragon Lady came out she was virtually screaming at me, not allowed to park, but once her husband came from behind her he realised her mistake and was quite gentlemanly about it! If any critique on the apartment, and I am being lucky here, then too much kitchen utensils , cutlery , plates etc etc! Looked a tad messy! Else truly a wonderful experience and if we ever get back to Magdeburg will surely stay there again!
