Amazing stay in Luxor. One of the best accommodations I’ve stayed in anywhere in a long time. The villa is beautifully set off the main part of the West Bank - an easy 15 min walk through banana plantations and along the Bile to the public ferry and lots of good restaurants. The room was huge. Beautifully decorated and had everything you need to relax and unwind. Shower was great and bed comfortable and the whole accommodation very clean (didn’t try the pool as was there in January) The real stars are all the staff. Ahmed the owner is a great guy - always there to help, give tips, arrange tours and just have a chat about life. He really made my stay in Luxor great. I booked a balloon tour, transfer to bus station and a driver (Mohammed is the best) for a few hours. Fair price and just relaxed vibe. Big mention to Yousef and Mohammed who prepared a delicious breakfast each morning. They really went out of their way to make sure each guest was happy and had enough to eat. Just genuine, nice people offering a great place to stay in Luxor. Can’t wait to come back!

Hamdy came directly to pick us up from GoBus station and brought us to Mama Africa, where we spent 4 nights (initially it was 1) in a very quiet area. He and his family hosted us wonderfully, providing a big room on the 2nd floor with comfy double beds, a beautiful view of the Nile river and huge, tasty breakfasts. Beans, omelette, soup, cow cheese, fruit, pita bread, every day something was slightly different but very delicious and fulfilling (I normally eat a lot, but with their breakfast I was ok until dinner). Moreover, Hamdi helped us with our trip, organising transports and the best places to visit, even a plan from Luxor to Aswan and the transport Aswan - Abu Simbel, all at a fair price. He cares a lot for his guests thus he does his best to satisfy them, depending on their needs and priorities. Therefore, our stay in Mama Africa surrounded by Hamdi and his family makes our visit to Luxor amazing!!! If I come back in Luxor, for sure this place will be my choice! Thank you Hamdi and hope we can see each other soon!

Our stay at this apartment in Luxor was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful. The manager and staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive to our needs. The apartment itself was comfortable, and the stay was excellent overall. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to our day.
