PortugalEverything about this stay was a pleasant experience. To try and make this a helpful review for others I'll divide it in topics:
>Location - Located at the foot of Serra da Lousã the Quinta offered a breathtaking view into the mountains and the fields that lead to it. It's a wonderful location, surrounded by nature and the tranquility of the countryside. The surrounding garden was painted with a green so cheerful and the smell of nature all around made this stay a complete marvel. Most of the day the Quinta is bathed by sun but it's many trees provide such a pleasant shade to chill and relax.
On the upside, despite all this apparent remoteness the Quinta is a short time away from the nearest village where you can buy anything you need during your stay
>Facilities - The Quinta had everything I could possibly need, the room was very comfortable, cozy and the bed was so soft. Just loved the detail of the keeping the natural stone walls of the original building and integrating it with the architecture of the room, it made for a perfect combination. And the corner carved on the wall for the scented candles was the cherry on top. Everything was clean and the bathroom was spotless. It was completely furnished with coffee/tea machine, fridge, tv and the desk set really come in handy when i had to work a bit. It is perfect for remote workers to go and relax while working remotely.
>Staff - Staff was marvelous and so warming, any needs I had they could accommodate and I felt more like home than at a booked place. If you are lucky to meet the owner, Amnon you will find him to be the most welcoming and nice guy you could hope to find and have a chat. I was lucky enough he had the opportunity to show me around the place and tell me his and its history. A definite plus.
>Value for money - All things considered this was an insanely good deal, the value I paid was largely surpassed by the experience i had in this place.
