A big bonus of this apartment is the spacious terrace with a beautiful view of Funchal, marina with cruisers and of course the ocean; we enjoyed especially the beautiful sunsets. The apartment is located in a very quiet area of Zona Velha, just a few steps from picturesque Rua de Santa Maria. The host is very friendly, kind, helpful, she even lent us trekking poles!

Amazing staff, garden, hotel room, facilities were topnotch, breakfast buffet was to die for and the gardens and swimming pool just wonderful. Lots of good restaurants along the promenade.
