We were breathtaken by our first glimpse of Traunsee from the property—it was like something out of a dream. Even though there was no staff on-site, the self-check-in and key pick-up were smooth. (At first, the quiet, empty hotel and peaceful surroundings gave us a bit of a thrill after our long drive!) The free minibar was a great touch, especially when no stores or restaurants were nearby. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options, all beautifully arranged. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

The response time for any inquiries is speedy, helpful, and positive. The Rilke apartments vary in sizes and have been newly re-done with great care including a full-size bathroom with washer and drying rack in our small studio. It was a totally peaceful and relaxing New Year's visit!!

It is very convenient that they serve breakfasts until 2:30 pm. 10 minutes away from hotel there is a nice place to swim in the lake and take a sunbath on the grass. We enjoy our stay in this hotel.
