The room was more than we expected, more like an apartment with kitchen and also a washer and dryer. It was spacious and very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to help us. This little town was amazing and the host and all residents were super helpful and friendly. There is one restaurant in the town which I recommend but it is cash only so better to have cash on. The surrounding of the restaurant and all town was amazing. Traveling on a motorcycle I felt safe parking my bike in this town.

Set 650 metres from the lake, Sasso Boretto, Luxury Holiday Apartments offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a bar. Super clean, very cozy and short walk to the lake and restaurants. Staff very kind and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Offering a sun terrace, Minerva Residence is located in Cadegliano Viconago in the Lombardy Region, 9 km from Lugano. Free private parking is available on site. Good sized, clean, comfy, dog friendly apartment with amazing views . Nice communal out door sunbathing area with a jacuzzi. Friendly family who gave us a lift on the last day when it was raining. Supermarkets, bus stops , bars etc are a 10 minute walk down hill. Train station ( in switzerland) is a 25 minute walk

The Garni Villa Siesta Park is a hotel in Losone, a 15-minute walk from Ascona. It features a huge flower garden and a barbecue area. It is a self-contained island of greenery (nice big garden) and quiet, with lots of things for a 5-person family to do and a lovely atmosphere. The team running the Villa were super friendly and supportive - our daughter needs to eat gluten free food and they helped us by ensuring fresh gluten free bread every day in the morning for her and once even baked a special cake. Our energetic two year old could run in the garden, play with the toys from the toy collection and enjoy the sandbox, which kept him busy and us as relaxed as possible... The fully equipped kitchen gave us the freedom to cook as we needed to. And the option to use the bicycles with a baby seat was just great. Would gladly go back for another stay.

The host was really friendly its just a shame i had to stick to a schedule or i would have stayed for a week.
