This was our favourite place to stay in our whole trip round various parts of Costa Rica. The gardens make for a gorgeous setting and a pleasant short walk. We saw agotis, butterflies, giant toads and hummingbirds all within the premises, not to mention the beautiful flowers. The hosts are a family business who made us feel right at home and helped us with transfers to and from our other destinations. We had a spacious and comfortable apartment with a peaceful balcony with a beautiful view, and the breakfast was fantastic - the best gallo pinto we ate! Located very near the Chirripo national park office and nearby organic shop and cafe/bar Kapi Kapi (thoroughly worth a visit).

This place is wonderful. Surprisingly quiet and in a nice location. We stayed there three times ..the night we arrived and two other times between flights to different places. The staff were very kind.

In Central Avenue Cando Living provides apartments. Fully equipped with towels and toiletries. National Museum are across the street and National Theatre of Costa Rica is 600 metres from Cando Living.... The plants and the paintings. The receptionist is also really nice

Super nice staff and it's great that they have a kitchen. Although being right on a main road you don't hear the traffic at night (we had a room with a big window to the street). It's very close to the Ticabus station and there is a Maxi Pali right across the street, we will stay here again when taking the bus back to CR.

There was a nice restaurant close to the hotel and the breakfast there was very nice and cheap. Also, the receptionist Ligia, was very kind. We arrived early in the morning and she let us use the room before the check-in time. All the facilities were very clean and comfortable and the location was perfect

The room was exactly as described. Very clean and comfortable. There was an electric frying pan, which doesn't show in the photos, so we were able to cook and eat well. Ligia was very sweet and offered to store our luggage since we arrived early. She moved it to our room while we were out sightseeing and it was all ready when we returned. Security was top notch! I felt very safe there and leaving things in the room was not a worry. Location is also excellent, as you're just a couple of blocks from the best sights in the area and there are walking streets everywhere. It was a real pleasure to stay here.

And a bustling walking street that leads to top sights.

It is walking distance from all the main locations. China town, stores, museums. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was really nice. Living in Costa Rica and getting a hot shower is amazing.
