I highly recommend this property! I did a ton of research for apartment accommodations in Berlin for my family of 4 (two kids, aged 11 and 13) for our 6 night trip and am so glad I went with Bensimon’s apartment with balcony. First of all, the Prenzlauer Berg neighborhood was perfect. Lots of great shops, grocery stores and restaurants in every direction. If you are new to Berlin, it’s important to understand that their public transportation is exceptional, so everything is close via tram, UBahn, SBahn, bus or walk. We frequently used the close-by UBahn and tram. Secondly, the temperature of the apartment was magically perfect - don’t let the no-AC deter you. Temperatures reached 37 Celsius during our stay, and we found the unit to be a cool respite from the heat. We all slept great in the heat and even still used the bedding/covers - that’s how the cool the apartment stays. My kids are at an age where they aren’t little, but aren’t full grown teens yet. The sofa bed was perfectly comfortable and spacious for them. This place really felt like an apartment with some hotel services. We were impressed with the details throughout - decent sized laundry drying rack, kitchen supplies, streaming service availability, shoe horn, umbrellas, coat racks etc. Further, the hosts left coffee with filters, wine, chocolate, and even did a mid stay clean with fresh linens and towels which was much appreciated. The sign of a great apartment is that it has everything you need in a great location for exploring a city, but is also is a place that is cozy for relaxing in the evenings. This place is 10/10 and I highly recommend it for your Berlin stay!
