Set in a charming house with a garden, Casa del Lago Hotel offers self-catering apartments with private balconies in Santa Cruz. Charles Darwin Research Station is 1 km away. What an amazing gem of a place!! We felt so fortunate to have booked this as it certainly seemed to be one of the nicest in town. I loved that they had hot and cold filtered water available and a clothes line and outside space on a little pretty deck covered in flowers. The location was ideal. Short walk to anywhere in town. Proprietor was very helpful and we very much enjoyed the tours and transportation that she arranged for us. It was so relaxing for us to be able to book once we arrived rather than way ahead. It was also much better value than booking ahead, which we were very thankful for.
