Fantastic accommodation. Really friendly host. So pleased we chose to stay here. Comfy beds. Fabulous hot tub. Great continental breakfast included. Use of kitchen for self catering in evenings. Perfect location for a visit to Geysir Gulfoss and Thingvillir national park. Can whole heartedly reccommend and would definitely stay if we visit this area again

Quiet little town for self-catering selfdrive stay of 2 - 3 nights. The close by supermart Kronan, has everything you need to whip up homely meals to eat in or pack to go on daytrips to the Golden Circle. Hot tub, large jacuzzi, steam room free use by guests is really "cool". Some apartments have a wash & tumble dry laundry machine, Hoover brand which is super convenient!

Had such a perfect stay, such a lovely house with everything we needed for self catering our family of 6. Place has so much character, loved all the great artwork throughout, beds were all super comfortable, plenty of space for 4 kids to enjoy. Host was very accommodating and helpful. Location was quiet and perfectly central to get to all the top locations to visit. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

It was very easy to find the property. It is in a good location with two supermarkets nearby. Plenty of free parking. Well furnished. All you would require for a self-catering stay. Several good restaurants within walking distance. Friendly, helpful staff at nearby local hospital (which we had to visit for some minor treatment). The location is ideal for days out, well within range of waterfalls, geothermal phenomena (geysirs, hot pools and river bathing), black beach.
