The apartment was as expected, in a very beautiful position form where you can appreciate the landscape and the stunning coastline beauty. Place was quiet (you are definitely away from the crowds) and, above all, full of scents of flowers around. When you step out of the car you get literally overwhelmed. Ischia is in many places like this, but the gardens around the apartment show it in full. A really wonderful experience of its own. The fruits of the gardens where free for us to pick: grapefruits, oranges and herbs. The room was very comfortable with a terrace over the sea (from the hill where the apartment is located). Unforgettable breakfasts in the terrace! Shower was good and all appliances where working fine. TV displays Italian terrestrial channels. Internet was reasonably fast. Not lightning fast, but more that enough for work purposes. You are on an island, you cannot expect miracles from connections. The place was not easy easy to find. This happens easily since you get smack bang from the "continent", where roads are more or less wide and rational. Ischia is in general not like this. Roads are winding and narrow. Even with a good navigator, you miss a turn and your back to square 1! So, it is a general problem. If you only like 18 lanes highways, do not come to Ischia or hire a driver! ;-) The really friendly owner has helped us in many many ways with advices to organise our stay and visits. It definitely made our stay much more pleasant, easier and also time effective. I am surely missing something. The bottom line is that we really enjoyed the place and will come back any time.

They were so communicative and took the time to answer every question we had and give us tons of recommendations, show us how to work the bus, and so much more! We went to go ask where a laundromat was and they told us not to worry and washed and hung our clothes up to dry for us!! Truly, the staff here made the stay incredible. We will definitely be back!! Also the rooms are huge!!

The apartments have everything one needs. Two pools and a nice small beach di Cava dell'Isola nearby. Would definitely come back.

Ischia Blu Resort offers direct access to a private, equipped beach in Ischia Porto, and is near the ferry harbour for connections to the mainland. Breakfast was nice. Location was great. The Ischia Blu Resort itself was "out of this world", being one of the best establishments I've ever stayed at.

The guest houses are run by a very kind family. The owner has created a wonderful garden with exotic plants, you can see the love and labor he has put into his life project. Daughter Ida, a professional teacher, does the service better than I've seen in any other place. The mother keeps everything in check. I'm a repeated visitor of Ischia, knowing this Island since I was a toddler in the 1980s, now I'm visiting with my wife and children. I recommend the strategic place of Buganville as the best hot thermal spas are easy to reach by bus. It is a good place to be for a family, any requests can be communicated and solved with the owners.

Villa Olivia has the most beautiful pool and garden area of any holiday property I've ever stayed in. And you can pick lemons and fresh herbs from the garden. There are stunning views wherever you look. And a Japanese foot massage bath! The view over the sea from our balcony was my favourite, especially at sunset. Olivia and her lovely father Giuseppe could not have been kinder or more helpful, they go all out to make your stay a blissful one. Bear in mind the walk down to the beach although short (10-15 minutes) is quite steep. The walk into the centre is easier and takes about the same length of time. As others have pointed out, parts of the road have no pavements. It didn't bother us because we got used to that holidaying in Croatia. The beach Spiaggia Chaia is beautiful. The water is calm and shallow, so good for children. Lastly there's a spa supermarket right next door.
