Fully equipped, modern, clean, very comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Not ski in ski out is the only downside, but transfers to and from apartment on arrival and departure, and supermarket runs daily are very handy. We would love to return in the future.

We had an incredible stay at The Hakuba Grand Apartments! From the moment we arrived, the staff—Dave, Takami, and John—went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality truly made a difference. The apartment itself was huge, immaculately clean, and well-appointed with everything we could ask for. The complimentary continental pantry was a thoughtful touch and made our mornings so much easier. Overall, an outstanding experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hakuba!

Located at the bottom of the ski slopes between the gondola lift station and Happo Shirakaba lift, Starry Residence Suite is a ski-in ski-out apartment just steps away from Hakuba Happo-one Ski... Best location on the mountain if you’re a skier or boarder! Truely ski in & ski out. Great kitchen, hot shower and plenty of space to store things. Naoko went out of her way to make sure sheets and towels were changed and we could check in (very late) which was amazing! So many great food spots around - would stay here again in a heart beat!

The Vietnamese food cooked by the host was delicious and if you're lucky you might get a free dinner or two. The host was so nice she even offered to drop off my wife and pick her up at an event my wife was attending giving me time to relax at the pensions garden. Looking forward to visiting Hanoi pension again.

No air conditioning. A tiny room with just enough room for 4 Japanese style beds next to each other. My feet even touched the table. I knew Japan was usually cramped, but I couldn't imagine it could be this small. This was my mistake. Never coming back to this area!
