The luxurious Village Lake Luxury Apartments are centrally located Hanmer Springs village centre only a few hundred metres from the popular thermal pools and the main street with shops, cafes and restaurants. this apartmennt is an excellent choice, it is truly spacious, very comfortable, amazing view, the equipment of the kitchen is very sufficient, everything you need (I maybe only missed a scale), all was clean. We enjoyed the fireplace (during christmas), spa bath, having brekky on the balcony, all quiet. The apartment is close to the center and you can start some small neighbourhood hikes there. Generally we were very happy with our apartment selection and we very much enjoyed our stay.

The location was tremendous - peaceful Kaikoura beach frontage meant we could enjoy breathtaking views from the serenity of our balcony, while the township of Kaikoura was just a short and pleasant walk away. Back to our amazing hosts - we enjoyed the delicious breakfast on offer, and Jane and Russell were able to sort restaurant bookings during a busy Christmas period - making it a really special visit for us.

Close to the water, easy to get to, spacious, warm when we arrived, clean, friendly, helpful & knowledgable staff. Plus the thoughtful touch of a small amount of milk left in the fridge for a coffee or two the next morning was lovely & unexpected.
