Fantastic private location right on the waterfront but only 5 minutes drive from the wharf and town. Incredible view. Fabulous chalet ("chalet" doesn't do it justice, perfect for those who appreciate 70's/80's architecture with high ceilings and 45 degree angles. The 12-year-old called it "awesome" and said he wanted to live there forever). Two large bedrooms each with a huge ensuite, big well-equipped kitchen and convenient in-chalet laundry. Amazing outlook from large windows in all the rooms. Thoughtfully furnished. Lovely gardens and expansive balconies. A pool house which we didn't use, but good advice from the hosts on the best hot baths in town. Really helpful communication from the hosts, timely and upbeat, nothing too much trouble.

Situated on a picturesque rose garden, Phoenix Thermal Resort - Taupo is 2 minutes' walk from Lake Taupo and 20 minutes' walk from Taupo City Centre. It is 2.7 km from Taupo Airport. A lovely one bed duplex apartment set in a pretty garden setting. we had a view of the lake from the upstairs balcony. there is a road in front of the apartments but as the buildings are set back it is less noisy than many others . There are apartments opposite but the Lake can be seen between these. The apartment was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and was comfortable for our one night stay. the bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The hot tub with is filled with water from the natural geothermal source. We enjoyed a walk around part of Lake Taupo. we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Located alongside the lovely Lake Taupo, Braxmere Lodge offers accommodation with a patio and lake views. Braxmere Lodge Tokaanu is a 10-minute drive from Trout Hatchery and Turangi. We loved the setting of the room, on the nice lake. The area was so quiet, that was also a special treat. The cooking facilities in the room were very good and handy. Housekeeping staff was very helpful.

Absolutely loved it here. the staff were nice, facilities were nice, comfy beds! The room had everything we needed. Easy access to the lake front, absolutely loved the heated pool. Best place I have ever stayed in, 100/10. Will definitely be back, highly recommend!!!
