Situated on a picturesque rose garden, Phoenix Thermal Resort - Taupo is 2 minutes' walk from Lake Taupo and 20 minutes' walk from Taupo City Centre. It is 2.7 km from Taupo Airport. I was visiting for Ironman and it was perfect accommodation. I arrived early and was able to get an early checkin no problem. The photos on line do not do justice to this place. Everything is in good order. Comfortable, clean. Plenty of room and no worries. Next time we will stay longer.

Located alongside the lovely Lake Taupo, Braxmere Lodge offers accommodation with a patio and lake views. Braxmere Lodge Tokaanu is a 10-minute drive from Trout Hatchery and Turangi. Thank you for a lovely stay, we were really pleased with the facilities and appreciated the additional features such as the milk in the fridge. Comfortable and a great view!
