We arrived at Citadines Al Ghubrah Muscat early in the morning, exhausted after a long overnight flight. During check-in, my husband casually mentioned that we were on our honeymoon—and the hotel manager immediately surprised us with an incredibly thoughtful gesture. That same day, he arranged a free upgrade to a spacious room on the top floor, complete with a balcony and beautiful city view. It was the perfect welcome and made us feel truly special from the very beginning. Throughout our stay, the staff was exceptionally kind, professional, and attentive—from the front desk to housekeeping. Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and a perfectly made bed every time. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. Another highlight of this hotel is its excellent location—situated in a quiet area of Muscat but within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and malls. It made exploring the city very easy and convenient. This stay was much more than just a place to sleep—it was a memorable experience and the perfect beginning to our honeymoon. We wholeheartedly recommend Citadines Al Ghubrah Muscat to anyone looking for comfort, warm hospitality, and a great location. We’d love to come back one day. :)

The rooms are a bit dated, but clean and comfy, making it a great place to relax after exploring the city. Parking out front is also super easy-- we were worried about driving and parking in Muscat, but it was the perfect base to explore. PLUS, there’s a fantastic Indian restaurant right next door (that will deliver to the room) and a supermarket just steps away. Wish we stayed longer!
