When we arrived with the taxi, we were directly welcomed. We intended to stay only one night then travel away from Cuzco. But my family loved it SO much that we stayed 3 more nights. Our apartment was so spacious, clean and beautifully cute. Calm surroundings and great view on Cuzco and the mountains around. The ladies preparing the breakfast are so attentive. The staff took good care or us during the entire stay and even arranged a late check out before our evening flight. The food was delicious. The breakfast area and the rooftop terrace are great locations to chill out and enjoy the view. I totally recommend

Casona La Recoleta is located in the centre of Cusco, close to San Blas Church and Religious Art Museum. Casona La Recoleta offers independent apartments that can fit up to 6 people. The property itself is lovely, check-in easy, staff very friendly and helpful, my room was warm, spacious and self-contained with a kettle & fridge so I could make my own beverages and snacks (discovered this isn't offered in all hotels in Cusco). Cold Breakfast for each day is delivered the night before and if you want a hot breakfast, you just order it in the morning. The location is brilliant - I could walk everywhere I wanted to to site-see and go to great restaurants and shopping in San Blas - a 5 minute walk away. Great restaurants nearby like Jacks Cafe & GreenPoint. Very clean, bed was extremely comfortable and bedding really good quality and warm despite the cold mornings and nights. I will come back in a heart beat to stay here.

I can't say enough about the mother and daughter proprietors. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable and happy. I enjoyed their hospitality for two months.
