The guest house is clean,, quiet and spacious. The hostess is very kind and warm. She helped me carry my huge luggage through the rugged lame to the main street when I checked out. There is a bus stop just two minutes walk away. The city bus goes to the bus terminal so it’s very convenient. There are several supermarkets and groceries stores around. I sincerely recommend this place to any travelers.

Very spacious and clean villa, very close to the center of Berat. Host is easily contacted through WhatsApp, and very helpful. Apartment is fully equiped. Parking is possible in the street, 30m away from the apartment. One tip: don't follow Google Maps once in the city, as it will guide you to some cobblestone hilly alleys that you can't drive through. Better take the detour... Restaurants and supermarkets are close by.

We drove to Berat and appreciated Mikael’s clear messages and photos on WhatsApp with driving and parking instructions. His parents were the on-site hosts, very kind and hospitable, even helping do a load of laundry. His father waited to greet us at the parking location and helped carry luggage to and from the house (80 m on cobblestone road). Breakfast featured three different homemade jams! It was colder when we stayed in mid- November and the AC unit kept our room warm. They brought an extra space heater for the bathroom so we could shower. We were able to walk to the castle and old town Berat. and ate at the inexpensive restaurant nearby (Trad. Food Anxhelo). Bed was comfortable, good shower.

I stayed at Villa Rosa for two nights with family. Before arriving, the host sent a guide for Berat that came in handy during my stay and was quick to answer any questions I had. The views at the apartment were breathtaking and it was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was very helpful and reassuring when a medical emergency came up. I highly recommend staying at Villa Rosa in Berat.

    The host is very nice. We were in Berat one our earlier as planned, and he met us and helped to park the car in his lot. In the apartment itself there was everything you might need during the short stay: bed, shower, toilet. I cannot say whether you can use kitchen, cause I did not, but it seems to be yes. Location is excellent: you are literally in the center, but at the same time in a rustical apartment.

    Amazing apartment. It’s huge, so you can play hide and seek there. Even the terrace itself - size of a flat. Beautiful view for the mountains and town center. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, bathrooms and the kitchen well facilitated. You can find there everything you need and more. The owner is very friendly and kind. We really enjoyed our stay there, just regretting that it was not longer. Highly recommended!
